I completed about 49 miles of 2,918 mile journey in my first day. Oddly enough no one offered a lift, but that's not expected in this day and age. I slept at a motel 6 by the Lake Sammarnish State Park. I need to make better time and the rain is unbearable.
I can't wait to get to Ireland, home of my family heritage and have a pint of Guinness.
